Animal Planet is a television channel primarily dedicated to content about wild animals and domesticated pets. By helping others find a higher quality of life through fulfilling relationships, Torres hopes to help both man and beast find peace, redemption and a second chance.

As the largest metropolitan zoo in the country, the Bronx Zoo faces many challenges. The caretakers at this facility keep their fauna friends thriving through concentrated efforts in rehabilitation, illness treatment, endangered animal support, rehousing of illegal animals, research and more.
